History

• Biography

  Mossy never knew her real parents. She aged out of the foster system without too many bad or good experiences. Nobody ever wanted her enough to adopt her, but no one ever treated her too badly either. Even when it came to her peers, it was the same. She was part of friend groups, but she never made close friends. It was like people could barely tell she existed.
  
  One day, when she was 18, enforcers in strange uniforms banged at her door and accused her of being a rogue. She had no idea what they meant. They captured her and put her in a cell, where they showed her CCTV footage of a wolf viciously attacking and killing a golden retriever from one of the townhouses in the neighborhood. This was on the news a few days ago, but no one ever found the wolf that did it, according to mainstream media.
  
  Then the enforcers showed her another video of the stairwell in her apartment, where she could see the same wolf slipping to hide underneath the stairs. The video fast-forwarded, and Mossy saw herself stumbling out of the same shadows where the wolf had hidden.
  
  The enforcers revealed themselves to be werewolves, and they told her that they'd been tracking her ever since that night. They needed to put her down because she was a Throwback, a stunted werewolf that doesn't retain it's human mind when it changes. Throwbacks also have no control when they will turn into wolves, so they are considered to be dangerous and devolved mutations that have to be culled.
  
  Mossy was thrown into a cell with other Throwbacks, but unknown to her, these ones were planning a violent escape. The moment the enforcers opened the door, the other Throwbacks attacked, and Mossy escaped in the confusion.
  
  Now she's on the run and looking for a place where the world would be safe from her, and vice versa.
